Dr. Jason S. Applebaum, MD, FAAD

Dr. Applebaum earned his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He graduated with honors and received special distinction for his intensive research in molecular biology. Dr. Applebaum completed his internal medicine internship at the New York University Medical Center and his dermatology residency at the University of Chicago. During his post-graduate training in Chicago, Dr. Applebaum conducted extensive research in his field, particularly in the area of melanoma, and has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of the National Cancer Institute . He has presented his findings at multiple conferences of the Chicago Dermatologic Society. With extensive training and experience in laser surgery and cosmetic surgery, Dr. Applebaum specializes in facial rejuvenation and scar treatment. He joined our team at Advanced Dermatology and the Center for Laser and Cosmetic Surgery in 1999. Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Applebaum is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a graduate member of the American Medical Association and the Society for Investigative Dermatology.
