Dr. Irene Spates, DMD

Dr. Irene Spates is well-established in Baltimore as a compassionate pediatric dentist who demonstrates integrity, trustworthiness, and transparency.

She is dedicated to providing quality dental care to children in a calm and playful environment. Her goal is to instill healthy oral habits in families that will last a lifetime.

She is an active member of the MD Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey.

Following dental school, she completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at NYU Langone in Eastern Shore Maryland. Here, she received intense training in a full range of general dental care and advanced surgical procedures. She then received her pediatric dentistry certificate at University of Maryland, where she obtained specialty training treating infants, children, young adults and those with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Spates loves Baltimore! In her free time, she enjoys sailing along the harbor, kicking back at the Orioles Ballpark, and cheering on the Ravens at the stadium.
