Dr. Gavin McNelis

I was born in Hinsdale, Illinois but moved shortly after and was raised in Redmond, Washington. I went to Interlake High School where I played soccer, baseball, and swam.

I received my Biology Degree and Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington. As an undergraduate, I worked as a dental assistant and volunteered in the UW Dental Fears Research clinic which ingrained a compassionate, empathetic, and gentle approach to dental care.

After Dental School, I completed a General Practice Residency in the Portland VA Healthcare System. My advanced training there gave me a comprehensive understanding of both complex medical and dental conditions. My fiancé, Stephanie, and I are happy to be back in Washington and look forward to serving the Arlington community.
