Dr. Gary D. Welch, DDS, FADI, FAGD, FACD, FICD

He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Abilene Christian University and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 1968.

Knowing that learning is a lifelong process, Dr Welch amassed over two thousand hours of continuing education. He earned several awards and fellowships during his career. These honors include being recognized as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that only seven percent of dentists hold.

Dr and Mrs. Welch served as founding board members of Grace International Children’s Foundation. That organization addresses the urgent need to care for children left abandoned or orphaned by the AIDS epidemic in Uganda.

As the founder of Welch Dental Group, Dr Welch opened his Katy, Texas office in 1994. Dr. Welch understood there was a need for dentists to provide quality care for patients, regardless of their type of insurance coverage. He chose to focus his service to include patients with managed care and PPO dental plans; one of a few of the first dental offices in Katy, Texas to do so.
