Dr. Francisco Mascarenas, DMD

Dr. Mascarenas was introduced to dentistry at a very young age. As an only child growing up in nearby Avondale, AZ, he spent a lot of time with his extended family in Mexico, where about a half-dozen of his relatives, including his uncle, work as dentists.

Once Dr. Mascarenas decided on a dental career, he went to ASU for his bachelor’s degree. Then, he attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health at AT Still University in Mesa. During his time at ATSU, he met his wife, who is also a dentist.

After graduating with his dental degree in 2018, Dr. Mascarenas completed a one-year residency at St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic in Phoenix, where he further developed his skills in dental implants, wisdom tooth surgery, and endodontics. After working as an associate dentist, Dr. Mascarenas decided to open up Sonoran Dental Studio so that he could pursue his own unique vision of dentistry. At our office, he wants to provide a friendly, welcoming environment where patients of all ages and all walks of life can get the care they need. From preventive care to cosmetic makeovers and restorative dental treatments, Dr. Mascarenas offers expert care for all ages. And with our advanced technology, we ensure the very best outcomes for everyone who walks into our doors. Outside of the office, Dr. Mascarenas enjoys spending time with his wife Desiree, and their son Dante, who was born in February 2024. When he’s not busy being a husband and a father, Dr. Mascarenas is a big film buff and also loves watching football on Sundays during the NFL season. Go Broncos!
