Dr. Erisa Sam

Dr. Erisa Sam is from Southern California. She was born to a family of physicians who instilled in her and nurtured her passion to pursue dentistry since childhood. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine, graduating among the top students of her class. During her undergraduate career, she was a research intern at the Beckman Laser Institute and spent a summer at Harvard University. She has presented her research in various conferences and authored publications in several peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Sam then followed her passion for dentistry at Midwestern University, where she trained in general and cosmetic dentistry, implantology, endodontics, laser dentistry, Invisalign, and CAD/CAM. Her outstanding performance for bringing in technology to patient care earned her the Digital Dentistry award two years in a row.

Dr. Sam is passionate about helping people in need. She has taken every opportunity to volunteer at events, such as free dental care for veterans, Give Kids a Smile, and at homeless shelters. During these experiences, she not only fulfilled her passion in helping the vulnerable population, but was also able to master dental skills in resource-limited settings.

Dr. Sam is happily married to her best friend, who is a physician. They enjoy spending time with Their new born daughter Avissa, family and friends, trying new foods, and traveling.
