Dr. Dipika Patel

Qualified to treat adults and children with a variety of allergic and immunologic conditions, Dr. Dipika Patel’s special interests span food allergy education in the schools and diagnosing and managing immunodeficiency disorders.

Her research on how school systems approach food allergies and on immunodeficiency screening has appeared in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Patel is also a nationally-recognized speaker in the areas of food allergy education and diagnosing immune disorders among pediatric patients.

A Chicago native, Dr. Patel earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Dr. Patel’s post-graduate specialty training took her to Houston, Texas, where she completed an allergy and immunology fellowship and pediatrics residency at the Baylor College of Medicine.
