Dr. Perna has focused his post graduate studies on soft tissue techniques and exercise rehabilitation. This experience is why he treats professional athletes as well as weekend warriors with such great success. Dr. Perna is a board certified sports practitioner. He is also Active Release Technique - Full Body Certified. Dr. Perna is the first elite provider in New York City for Active Release Technique. He is also Graston Certifed and Board Certified Practitioner in extremity work (hips, shoulders, knees).
