Dr. Christos Petridis, MD, FEBVS, FICS

Dr. Petridis started his career in vascular surgery at the University Heart Centre of Munich at the cardiovascular surgery department. After completing the common trunc in general, visceral, thoracic and vascular surgery he moved to his hometown Hamburg where he followed the specialization in Vascular surgery. At the age of 34 he became one of Germany's youngest consultant vascular and endovascular surgeons. At the age of 36 he then took over the Division of Vascular Surgery at a Hamburg hospital as the youngest Head of Division in Germany. In 2019 he started his private vascular institute in the centre of Hamburg, where patients come and see him from all over the country and from abroad. During his career he gave lots of lectures in national as well as in international conferences. In 2022 he published an international bestselling book entitled „The Killers Amongst Us“, aiming to save 100.000 lives globally by raising awareness for some deadly vascular diseases.
