Dr. Carter, DDS

Dr. Carter is a second-generation dentist whose passion for dentistry began early, shaped by a family legacy of dental professionals and his father’s dedication to community care. A former Oklahoma State Champion golfer in high school, he brought the same focus and discipline to his academic journey earning his undergraduate degree while competing on the golf team at Florida A&M University, then completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Meharry Medical College.

He then went on to sharpen his clinical expertise through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Waco, TX, before spending five years in New York immersed in innovative, high-level dental practice. This exposure to advanced techniques and technologies directly influences the exceptional, modern care he provides today at Premier Smiles Florida. Dr. Carter is known for his patient-first approach, blending leading-edge dentistry with a genuine commitment to care. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the American Dental Association, the National Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
