Carlos L. Benavides D, DDS

Dr. B grew up in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico and Douglas, Arizona. The son of a dentist, he had the opportunity to see the transformative power of dentistry from an early age. Dr. B knew he wanted to enter health care when he got older, but it wasn’t until he interviewed his father and a number of other dentists that he discovered dentistry was his true passion.

Dr. B earned a Bachelor's of Science in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Physiology from the University of Arizona, and he went on to study dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. Dr. B worked as an associate for 6 years after graduating, honing his expertise and discovering what his own philosophy of care is. Now, with the opening of Buena Vida Dental Studio, he is able to provide the high-quality, thorough and conservative care that he believes all patients deserve.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. B enjoys staying active by using his home gym and taking his dogs off-roading in his Jeep. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and listening to live music.
